Owners Orient-Express Hotels, scrupulously maintain Reid's Palace Hotel tranquil ambience of civilised, old fashioned charm and courtesy, renowned by standards of service.

Reid's Palace Hotel has 163 rooms in total, 128 rooms and 35 suites. All rooms and suites are all individually decorated in pastel colours, with a traditional style and comfort and have new wicker tables and chairs on the balconies or terraces, with sea facing views of either gardens or Funchal Bay. All rooms have Air conditioning, safe, marble bathroom with bath, shower and WC, Cable television, video and mini-bar.

The hotel has three swimming pools: two are seawater pools one heated and a fresh water pool also heated two tennis courts, a sauna, windsurfing (free of charge during summer), fishing, scuba diving, billiards and Levada walks.

The hotel offers a 500 ft2 gym with wonderful views over the ocean; equipped with Lifestyle cardio-training equipment, free weights. The Fitness room has changing rooms with sauna and steam room. The access to the Fitness Room is free of charge for Reid's guests.

Dancing classes, Portuguese classes, Wine tasting, and Aqua-gym are also available.

The famous Cocktail Bar offers live entertainment nightly and on Tuesdays plays host to our in-house guest party. Open from 10am to 1pm. Light snacks are available from 10am to 18pm. recommended dress code: Smart casual.
