Le Méridien Penina Golf & Resort features three golf courses designed by Sir Henry Cotton, including an 18-hole Championship Golf Course, the 360-acre estate is perfect for outdoor activities of all kinds. Six tennis courts, a FIFA-sized football field, and jogging circuit are frequented by professional athletes and guests alike.

The hotel boasts three Golf Courses, six floodlit outdoor Tennis Courts, outdoor pool, beauty salon, children's program, bicycle rental, water sports, babysitting service, gift shop, parking facilities, sauna, games room, disabled accessible facilities, billiards, gymnasium, driving range, putting green and jogging track.

Le Méridien offers a truly unique experience in every one of its stylish guest rooms and suites. Warm earth tones in addition to the luxurious sitting and work areas create an inviting ambiance for you to experience and enjoy.

A choice of five restaurants serve Portuguese, Italian and international cuisine, and the four bars offer a choice of refreshments, snacks and cocktails. Children's menus, barbecues, theme evenings and formal dinners are all available.

Penguin Village - Le Méridien Penina's unique facility for children - offers a range of activities including an adventure play area, swimming pool and slide, crèche, toys, arts and crafts materials and a Penguin Mac Restaurant, which is open during Penguin Village opening times. Bicycles, film shows and a bouncy castle are further facilities for children. Open Easter to 31st October / Christmas from 9.30 am to 600 pm and during July and August from 930 am to 900 pm, seven days a week.

The beach is four kilometres away from the hotel (with complimentary transfers from June to the end of September). The hotel is located on the south coast of Portugal, midway between the traditional fishing port of Portimão and the historic town of Lagos. The nearest town, with shops, local entertainment and a casino, is just four kilometres from the resort at Portimão.
